At some point, each one of us has experienced an occasion that spurred a thought “I wish I could help . . . “ Directly or indirectly, we all have some capacity to make a positive impact in someone’s life. You have the Power . . . to make a profound impact on the lives of thousands. When a child succeeds in school, a family has enough income to be independent, and when families are 
healthy children succeed in life, promoting financial stability and improving people’s health. We sure could use your help.
Volunteers play an integral role in every aspect of our work. Volunteers help us accomplish our objectives and keep our costs as low as possible. Explore with us the opportunities to discover your passions, share your skills, talents and experience.
Local people meeting local needs – that’s what volunteering with United Way of Ocean County is all about.
Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering. There are many opportunities to make a difference:
- serve on a working committee
- help out with administrative tasks, like answering phones and assisting with mailings
- help with one of our seasonal drives: Costumes in October, Holiday Season Drives, and Spring baskets
- become a United Way of Ocean County representative
- manage a workplace campaign
