FamilyWize Cards
United Way of Ocean County is distributing 8,000 free FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards are now available to help people with no prescription coverage lower the cost of medicine.
Most locations of chain pharmacies within Ocean County have agreed to accept these prescription drug discount cards; such as A&P, CVS, Kmart, Pathmark, Shop Rite, Target, WalMart and Stop&Shop. As well as many neighborhood drug stores including, Baywood Pharmacy in Tuckerton, Briar Mill Pharmacy in Brick and Taylor’s Pharmacy in Lakewood. They have no usage or age limits, income requirements or registration forms, and can be used immediately to reduce cost of medicine for anyone that has no prescription drug coverage. These cards are being distributed free of charge by United Way of Ocean County.
Healthcare costs are one of the top concerns for the people in our community and the FamilyWize discount prescription drug cards help families who otherwise could not afford much needed prescription drugs.
