UNITED WAY THANKS DONORS FOR HELPING TO SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER
With the help of employee gift drives at local businesses such as AmerGen Energy, Macy's and Boscov's and individual donations, a total of 500 gifts made their way into the homes of families in need. In addition to holiday drives and spring gift basket collection, United Way of Ocean County allocated more than $1 million to benefit 57 programs and agencies throughout the county.
United Way of Ocean County is committed to helping solve critical issues in the county. Partnering with 54 certified agencies, United Way supports programs and services addressing needs including emergency food and shelter, promoting physical, mental and emotional health, developing successful youth and enhancing the lives of seniors.
