UNITED WAY OF OCEAN COUNTY THANKS SUPPORTERS FOR 2007 GALA BALL SUCCESS
United Way of Ocean County would like to thank everyone involved in creating an evening to remember as the organization along with friends, sponsors and volunteers held its annual Gala Ball.
Mr. David Wintrode served as the Master of Ceremonies honoring Diane Rhine of Citta Rhine Realtors with United Way of Ocean County's prestigious Community Caring Award and the Gala's Diamond Sponsor OceanFirst Foundation for their years of continued support.
The Gala Ball which took place November 16, 2007 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood was attended by 190 guests. The Gala featured a silent auction of over one hundred baskets that were donated from local individuals and businesses along with a raffle of a magnificent Hearts on Fire Diamond Ring donated by Corinne Jewelers; the event raised $120,745.00 for United Way of Ocean County.
United Way of Ocean County is committed to helping solve critical issues in the county. Partnering with 53 certified agencies, United Way supports programs and services addressing the needs including emergency food and shelter, promoting physical, mental and emotional health, developing successful youth and enhancing lives of seniors.
